Things are beginning to get interesting in the the budget S35 sensor market. This is Sony’s lower end entry, with higher end models to come. APS HD sensor with 24MB AVCHD and interchangeable E-Mount lenses. Hopefully the OLPF is optimised fully for HD resolutions, and the DSLR craze will die quietly and quickly.
The ARRI Alexa is appearing here and there through out the world. Not all features are yet enabled though.
