Things are beginning to get interesting in the the budget S35 sensor market. This is Sony’s lower end entry, with higher end models to come. APS HD sensor with 24MB AVCHD and interchangeable E-Mount lenses. Hopefully the OLPF is optimised fully for HD resolutions, and the DSLR craze will die quietly and quickly.
