The Genesis was the last new digital camera Panavision built, in cooperation with Sony. Since then there have been many rumours and reports over the years of their next generation, based on their Dynamax sensor designs.
I’m not sure what to make of this latest announcement, but reading between the lines, they may have given up on making a new camera and appear to be skewing their motion picture sensor designs toward industrial applications.
